Matt Putnam-Pouliot was born near the Canadian border in Newport, Vermont. He and his parents moved a number of times before settling in Middlebury, VT at the time that he entered school. Matt drew before he ever got into school, but it was during his grade school years that he fell in love with comics and knew that some day he wanted to draw them. In high school he met his wife-to-be Chris. They were married after college and are currently living in Elizabethtown, NY - a small town in the wilds of the Adirondacks.
